Weeks Events

For the week of 3/14/05

Lee Sweet will do a book presentation and book signing on March 19th starting at 2PM at the CWG Center, please join us in welcoming her. She will be donating the profits from book sales to the Center, Thank You Lee! Here is what she has to say about the event.

Have inexplicable clouds and spheres been spoiling your photographs, especially when taken with digital cameras? Discover why they are appearing in photos worldwide and which are paranormal life forms. Leonore Sweet, Ph.D., has been studying this phenomenon for four years.

With actual photographs, Dr. Sweet will teach the audience how to distinguish between camera flukes and legitimate paranormal photographs. She will present theories concerning the light forms and spiritual and historical references to orbs, vortexes and ectoplasm that demonstrate they have been with us throughout history.

The audience will have an opportunity to photograph whatever light forms may be present with their own cameras, and Dr. Sweet will sign copies of her newly-released book, How to Photograph the Paranormal.

Wednesday's Events

"New Spirituality" Group 7-9pm - Every Wednesday,
with Jude
Were Evolving!
The energy of this group has shifted towards revitalizing the enthusiasm for and attendance at the events we currently have scheduled at the center. We have a diverse offering of spiritual groups, speakers, and activities each week and Humanity's Team Center of Portland would like to see as many people participating in them as possible. In addition to spending part of the evening coordinating this outreach, each week a different group member will facilitate a discussion on the topic of their choice. The topic could come from a CWG book, a related text, or really anything that's been spiritually inspiring to the facilitator. We hope the diversity of facilitators and topics will spice things up a bit. You'll never know exactly what you’re going to get, but spiritual growth is guaranteed!

Saturday
