9/9/06 - Now that we have supported the sneak preview of CWG: The Movie and the energy for the CWG material is rising in our area we are starting some new groups, come check them out!
The NEW Spiritual Cinema Group starts this Sunday 9/17 at 2PM at Jill Payne's home at 13305 SW 22nd St in Beaverton and will meet monthly. If you loved CWG: The Movie or any of Stephen Simon's movies, What Dreams May Come, Somewhere in Time or Indigo, it is a natural fit to watch movies he sends out every month to his Spiritual Cinema Circle. Jill is a member and wants to share the movies with all of us. If this time does not work and you can not make it, please email her at aradiagoddess15@yahoo.com because they will be meeting this week and deciding if another time would work better in the future. Please come and join her this Sunday! Where she lives is off of Hall by the Nazarene church, between Allen and Denney. The house is at the end of 22nd and is the white stucco with a red tile roof, her car will be parked out in front(a green Beetle).
The NEW Intenders Circle starts Sundays on 9/17 at 6:30 PM at Doyle Moore's home in Gresham (219 SE 192nd Street, 97233). Tony Burroughs was at the CWG Spiritual Connection Center this summer and shared his Intenders of the Highest Good Process, it is a powerful way to bring our goals and dreams or any intention into reality and have those intentions supported by a powerful group. The NEW Conversations With God Book 1 Study Group starts Tuesdays on 9/26 7-9 PM at Beaverton Unity 12650 SW 5th Street! Please Join Jeanene for an opportunity to study CWG Book 1 in depth, she will be using the Study Guide to Book 1 that Neale wrote which has great exercises and is a positive way to go deeply into the CWG material. 7/31/05 - Earlier this month we met with the Global County for World Peace (GCWP) and had a great get acquainted pot luck. Brian Cooley of GCWP approached me since he is a fan of Conversations with God and had visited our website, He wanted to have a conversation about the two groups working together to promote world peace, the pot luck came out of our initial conversations. I also invited people from Peace Now which is a peace group within New Thought Ministries of Oregon www.ntmo.org, all three groups were well represented. GCWP is an outgrowth of the Transcendental Meditation Movement and they told us of plans to build over 3000 “Peace Palaces” around the US and that they were looking for the right land to build the first of 7 or 8 Peace Palaces in the Portland metropolitan area. More info will show up on the website as time goes on. Our next get acquainted pot luck will be later in August.
5/26/05 - For the time being things have slowed down at the Center and we moved out of the physical location we occupied for over 2 years. Our Humanity’s Team New Spirituality Group still meets on Wednesday nights at Jude Norris’s house and Steve & Heather Cohen’s house. 12/18/04 - Our Holiday Pot Luck and Get Acquainted Party was a lot of fun, we had great food, great conversation, Karaoke, singing and dancing.
11/7/04 - The whole congregation of the New Thought Ministries of Oregon (NTMO) (formerly LEC) has been invited as a part of 3 weeks of visioning I have been involved in at the new church. The new Spiritual Community NTMO has a commitment to world peace that has come out of the visioning. I have proposed a partnership or linkages between the two organizations, It is no mistake that LEC hosted the Humanity's Team gathering last year. So join us this Saturday supporting James Twyman's efforts to bring lasting peace to the Middle East.

11/2/04 - Instead of our regular Advisory Board Meeting we finished our visioning, thanks to all who participated. Our updated vision and mission are as follows:

10/19/04 - We had a special Advisory Board Meeting for continued visioning for the Center. Another name that was suggested Center for Spiritual Exploration. We came up with a vision “People connecting to explore their unlimited potential.” Our Mission rough draft was “ To create an environment that strengthens and expands our self awareness through evolving Spirituality.” Some Thoughts of service and community are still likely needing a place in it.
10/4/04 - The majority of the Advisory Board Meeting was taken up with the second phase of visioning for the Center and another name was suggested Center for Spiritual Evolution.
9/13/04 - The majority of the Advisory Board Meeting was taken up with the first phase of visioning for the Center and looking at new names for the larger organization we are becoming that still includes CWG and Humanity’s Team and yet is beyond that. It was suggested we be called the Center for Spiritual Awareness, it later turned out that name is taken.
During September - In the New Spirituality Group (Wednesday Nights 7-9PM we watched some video and studied teachings of Ramtha after two members of hte group had attended a Beginners Retreat for nine days by the Ramtha School of Enlightenment. See the write up of the new Ramtha Group starting on Tuesday 7-9PM on Tuesdays starting November 9th.
8/18/04 - Here are the minutes to the Special Advisory Board Meeting - I am convinced we opened a whole new chapter of love, service, prosperity and abundance at the meeting.
In writing up the minutes I am more excited for the center than ever before, thank you all for your time, talents and energy of all kinds.
Also, someone called a few minutes ago offering us 4 separate weeks in Tahiti to auction off. The only catch is the minimum bids must cover the $500 fee per week he is wishing to avoid. 8/2/02 - At our regularly scheduled AB meeting we decided to call a special meeting to look at our financial situation in a new way and whether we would keep the center.
During August - In the New Spirituality Group (Wednesday Nights 7-9PM we went through the book Twelve Conditions of a Miracle by Michael Abrams.
7/18/04 - Lama Lobsang was here on a tour of the US and the world, we had a very good turn out and he spoke on how music is a healing force and how to use it, and answered questions on Tibetan Buddhism.
7/3/04 - Christian Pankhurst again gave an incredible workshop and ended the day with a level 4 process that he said he had never before done in a one day workshop, the day and the process were amazingly powerful.
6/30/04 - Christian Pankhurst came to the Center directly from his flight from London. Even though by the time he had arrived he had been up for 24.5 hours he did a great job introducing us to the workshop he will be presenting this Saturday 7/3 (see below). He is an amazingly energetic man and shows true dedication to the work of Humanity’s Team.

6/7/04 - Sorry I have not updated this for some time. I had to take control of a business I had been a silent partner in and I am finally able to have some days off again. I just updated what I could remember since 2/7/04. We are having our monthly Advisory Board Meeting tonight. We survived the winter utility bills and now are working on some fund raising possibilities so the center is better funded.
5/29/04 - We have set up a Massive Peace Meditation for Saturday June 12, 2004 from 9:30AM - 1PM, please come and join us. For details click here.
5/8/04 - We had another great Care Oke Night after the Pot Luck.
4/10/04 - A friend of mine brought in quite an extensive Karaoke system he calls his work Care Oke and we got to sing and dance after the Get Acquainted Pot Luck.
2/7-8/04 - Christian Pankhurst was back from the UK after completing the Fast Track Leadership Training as a HT leader. He did a two day workshop that was well attended and was extremely powerful. He plans to come back again.
2/2/04 - Updated the Embracing Change Workshop Page to add times for the event and report that Christian has lowered the price for the weekend to $60 to help make it more affordable to get more people interested in coming.
2/1/04 - After a great voluteer effort and turn out the center expansion is complete including renovating the upstairs (just some touch up and clean up.) Come by and see what we are up to and feel the new space even if you have never been here before. We are at 1236 SW Salmon in downtown Portland.
1/20/04 - The ACIM Study group met upstairs in the newly refurbished upstairs. We made progress on getting some doors hung and got all the materials ready to build a wall in the back to have another space available for practitioners. You can join us this Sunday 1/25 for a work party from 10-2PM and then join us for the S.O.U.L. Series from 3-5PM and hear a presentation on Paganism.
1/13/04 - We had our first group meet in the newly refurbished upstairs (mostly refurbished). It was the Power of Now Group and I recommend you check it and plan to make it there sometime soon myself.
1/10/04 - Had a great work day, got the floors upstairs under control and by Sunday they were all painted, just need some touch up on the white, lots of loose ends a couple of spots on the floor in the main area need a second coat. Come out sometime soon and see how great it turned out. Thanks for all your work and efforts. We also had a great Get Acquainted Pot Luck and are looking forward to the next Get Acquainted Pot Luck which will have and love and Valentine theme since it is on February 14th, hope you can make it. My wife and I will be in Hawaii swimming with the dolphins and having our 17th wedding anniversary and second honeymoon.
1/3/04 - Updated the Center Expansion Page based on moving forward with occupying the entire building. Updated the Ongoing Groups & Current Activities Pages. Updated Temple’s Workshops Page to reflect the January 10th & 11th being canceled. You still can sign up for her workshop January 17th & 18th. We cleared out all the old carpeting as a part of the Center’s expansion into the upstairs. We also worked on the ceiling and electrical issues in the back rooms upstairs.
1/1/04 - Updated the Calendar adding the Power of Now Group which starts on Tuesday January 13th.
